The Bengals have placed A.J. Green on injured reserve because of a nagging toe injury, the team announced Wednesday.
NEWS: #Bengals place WR A.J. Green on the Reserve/Injured list and activate CB Davontae Harris from the Reserve/Injured list.

The Bengals wide receiver originally suffered the injury to his right big toe in Week 8 against the Buccaneers and missed several games before returning in Week 12 against the Broncos. He appeared to re-aggravate his injury Sunday during the second quarter when he went down without any contact and was then carted off the field.
ESPN reported Monday that Green will undergo surgery to repair torn ligaments in the toe. Green is expected to be sidelined three to four months as he recovers, though the Bengals expect to have him back and ready for OTAs, the report says.
Green, 30, has 46 receptions for 694 yards and six touchdowns this season.
In a corresponding move, Cincinnati activated cornerback Davontae Harris from the reserve/injured list. Harris had been dealing with a knee injury and was placed on the list Sept. 3. He returned to practice Nov. 14.
