Los Angeles got a much-needed victory Monday night, and the Rams shared that glory with their most special fans in attendance.
After beating the Chiefs, 54-51, in a historic offensive showdown, the team dedicated the win to its city, and quarterback Jared Goff and offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth met with the families of the victims from the mass shooting that took place in Thousand Oaks, Calif., earlier this month.

The Rams had allotted thousands of tickets to the game for California residents dealing with the recent hardships that have rocked the state, offering free tickets to first-responders battling the wildfires in addition to those affected by the fires and this month’s shooting.
The shooting that took place at the Borderline Bar & Grill on Nov. 7 left 12 dead, with fires in Nothern and Southern California breaking out the next day that have since left 79 dead and nearly 700 missing.
