Redskins QB Alex Smith carted off field after gruesome leg injury

Redskins quarterback Alex Smith was carted off the field during Sunday’s game against the Texans with a serious leg injury.

Smith was hurt while being sacked in the third quarter. The severity of the injury remains unknown, though onlookers have suggested it could be season-ending.

Smith was immediately replaced by Colt McCoy under center.
