Ben Roethlisberger can’t seem to go a season without getting hurt.
The Steelers quarterback suffered a broken left index finger in the team’s Week 7 win over the Brown, coach Mike Tomlin confirmed during his Tuesday media address.
Tomlin noted that the injury could curtail Roethlisberger’s practice availability this week but said he doesn’t expect the injury to affect the QB’s status for Sunday’s division showdown in Baltimore.
Roethlisberger has a long history of injuries but also boasts a reputation of playing through them. He finished Pittsburgh’s 33-18 win over Cleveland with 257 passing yards, two touchdowns and an interception.
The Steelers (4-2-1) will look to stay atop the AFC North when they visit the Ravens (4-4) at 1 p.m. ET Sunday.
