Bridgewater reportedly agreed to sign with the Saints and remain the team’s backup quarterback, but no deal could be official until 4 p.m. EST on Wednesday.
The deadline came and went with no announcement from the Saints about his re-signing, and some alarm bells started to go off.
Now, it appears he is still looking for a team and the Dolphins do need a starting quarterback so it is possible Bridgewater could find himself as the lead signal caller in Miami.
