The Jets have obvious intentions to contend in 2019 as they added another marquee free agent before the league year officially begins.
According to reports, New York will sign former Ravens linebacker C.J. Mosely to a five year deal worth up to $85 million with $51 million guaranteed.

Mosley’s reported guarantee blows by the previous record for inside linebackers set by Panthers star Luke Kuechly in 2015 ($34 million).
Mosley, 26, made four Pro Bowl appearances in five seasons with the Ravens and had at least 100 tackles in every season except 2016 (92) when he missed two games.
The Jets reportedly also agreed to deals with former Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr and former Redskins receiver Jamison Crowder.
The new league year begins March 13 at 4 p.m. ET.
