Antonio Brown has been traded to the Raiders, according to Pro Football Talk.
This is just a report at this point, but it comes with another caveat — Brown seemed to announce the move on Twitter.
The disgruntled Steelers wide receiver posted an image on Instagram of himself adorned in Raiders attire and the hashtag “raidernation.”
Now this could mean he has been dealt.
It could also mean he just enjoys messing with people in the early hours of the morning on the east coast.
We’ll see what happens.
For what it’s worth, CBS Sports reported on Saturday the Raiders and Eagles were the two teams who seemed to be the most in on the wide receiver. So this could be true. And multiple reports have confirmed the deal is done so it appears this is for real.
The Steelers will receive third- and fifth-rounds pick in return for Brown, according to NFL Network.
The Antonio Brown saga is finally nearing a close. Sources say the #Steelers are dealing AB to the #Raiders in exchange for a third round pick and a fifth round pick in this 2019 draft. Brown will also get a reworked contract that makes him the NFL’s highest paid WR.
