The Rockets keep finding a way to win.
Houston trailed the entire game against the Lakers on Saturday, but Eric Gordon hit a huge 3-pointer to tie the game in the closing seconds of regulation, sending the contest into overtime.
James Harden continued his scoring tear with 48 points. He also managed to grab four steals. Gordon scored 30 points and made some critical free throws to seal the deal in Houston’s 138-134 win.
Kyle Kuzma scored 20 first-quarter points and finished with 32.
Houston is 26-19 and has overcome the injury bug so far this season to stay in the playoff hunt. Lonzo Ball went down with an ankle injury, so the Lakers will have to make some lineup changes to adjust and hold onto the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
Studs of the Night
Kyrie Irving scored 32 points on 11-of-19 shooting as the Celtics topped the Hawks 113-105.
Buddy Hield totaled 35 points, nine rebounds and a game winner to lead the Kings past the Pistons 103-101.
Joel Embiid racked up 31 points, eight rebounds and six assists, but the 76ers lost to the Thunder 117-115.
Duds of the Night
Luka Doncic scored eight points on 3-of-14 shooting before being ejected in the third quarter of the Mavericks’ 111-99 loss to the Pacers.
Fred VanFleet scored four points on 1-of-8 shooting in the Raptors’ 119-80 win against the Grizzlies.
Eric Gordon nailed a triple to knot the score up, helping lead the Rockets to an overtime victory.

Clippers (24-21) at Spurs (27-20) at 7 p.m. ET — Los Angeles has taken a tumble and lost five straight. The Clippers were once the best in the Western Conference but are currently in ninth place. The Spurs have won two straight and will be a tough opponent to beat in San Antonio.
