Pistons star Blake Griffin let emotions get the best of him when he appeared to be heckled by a fan during the team’s 129-123 victory over the Timberwolves on Thursday.
Griffin had to be held back after getting into a heated exchange with a fan in overtime, though it’s not clear what sparked the forward’s reaction. Griffin was heard during the broadcast saying, “What the f— you say to me?”
The fan then was ejected, according to Yahoo Sports, and Griffin eventually cooled down before heading back to Detroit’s huddle.
Despite the incident, Griffin had a strong night as he led the Pistons with 34 points, eight rebounds and four assists in 42 minutes on the court.
The Pistons improved to 15-14 on the season, while the Timberwolves fell to 14-17.
