James Conner is in jeopardy of missing more time.
The Steelers running back will be re-evaluated Monday but could be forced to sit out the team’s Week 15 showdown with the Patriots, NFL Network reported Sunday.
However, CBS Sports reported the team considers Conner’s status to be “week-to-week” and will wait to see how he does in practice this week before determining his availability for the AFC clash.
Conner suffered an ankle sprain in last week’s loss at Denver and was ruled out for Sunday’s game at Oakland on Tuesday after further evaluation revealed the injury is worse than the Steelers initially thought.

Conner, 23, has enjoyed a breakout season in Le’Veon Bell’s absence amid his contract holdout. The second-year rusher has logged 909 rushing yards and 467 receiving yards for 13 total touchdowns.
The Steelers (7-4-1) will look to bounce back from their two-game skid when they visit the Raiders (2-10) at 4:25 p.m. ET.
