Marvin Jones won’t play on Thanksgiving Day, but he could return next month.
According to NFL Media, which cited unidentified sources, the Lions wide receiver has a chance to play Dec. 2 when Detroit hosts the Rams.
Jones initially injured his right knee in a Nov. 11 loss at Chicago and will miss his second straight game in Thursday’s rematch with the Bears.
Jones, 28, has 35 catches for 508 yards and five touchdowns this season behind only Kenny Golladay and Golden Tate.
The Lions (4-6) could inch above Green Bay in the NFC North standings with a win Thursday when they host the Bears (7-3) at 12:30 p.m. ET.
