Carmelo Anthony parts ways with Rockets, report says

Carmelo Anthony’s stay in Houston was brief.

According to ESPN, Anthony and the Rockets have parted ways after just 10 games.

Houston has not announced the move yet, but the team is expected to before their game against Golden State on Thursday.

According to the report, Anthony will remain on the roster for the time being but he will not return to the team.

The Rockets signed Anthony before the start of season after the Hawks bought out his contract following a trade from the Thunder during the offseason.

Anthony averaged 13.4 points and 5.4 rebounds in Houston.

According to the Ringer, the Lakers, Trail Blazers and Pelicans could be interested in Anthony following his release.
