Less than five minutes into the Rams’ game against the Seahawks Sunday, Los Angeles quarterback Jared Goff was heard yelling “Halle Berry!” right before the ball was snapped.
While it’s nothing new to hear unique words and terms for certain plays (think Peyton Manning’s “Omaha!”), Halle Berry was a new one.
The audible garnered the actress’ attention, who took to Twitter to ask Goff what the call meant.

Even though Goff is a celebrity in his own right, he was starstruck and giddy when he found out Berry tweeted at him, according to ESPN.
“Wait, hold on, are you serious?” Goff said. “She heard it!”
Goff went online to find Berry’s tweet, then became more and more excited as he saw the responses.
“It’s so funny,” Goff said. “The thing is, when [McVay] called it, I was like, ‘It’s so quiet right now, this is going to get on TV.'”
Goff did try to play it cool with Berry, telling her it was his favorite play.

Goff’s response backfired a bit, with his teammates giving him a hard time for trying to be smooth with Berry.

Goff nor head coach Sean McVay would divulge in what the “Halle Berry” audible means, but McVay said it’s meant to be a compliment.
“She’s a very attractive woman that players know,” McVay said. “And it’s related to the play.”
