Brandon Marshall is New Orleans bound.
The Saints have signed the veteran wide receiver to a one-year contract in the wake of Dez Bryant’s season-ending injury, ESPN reported Monday, citing sources.
The report noted Marshall has yet to appear in a playoff game in his 13-year career, though that streak could end this season.
The Saints were dealt a blow less than two days after signing Bryant when he tore his Achilles in practice Friday. He is expected to be sidelined eight months as he rehabs the injury, which led the Saints to move forward in filling their open receiver slot.
Marshall, 34, was released by the Seahawks just before the NFL trade deadline Oct. 30. The six-time Pro Bowl selection previously had stints with the Giants, Broncos, Dolphins, Bears and Jets.
He had 11 catches for 136 yards and a touchdown in seven games with Seattle this season.
The Saints (8-1) are slated to host the Eagles (4-5) at 4:25 p.m. ET in Week 11 action.
