Dez Bryant is back.
After months on the market, the free-agent wide receiver has signed a one-year contract with the Saints, NFL Insider Ian Rapoport reported Wednesday, citing sources.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
NFL Media notes that Bryant will wear No. 88 in New Orleans and report to the team’s facility on Thursday after spending Wednesday in Dallas with his son.
Bryant visited New Orleans on Monday, working out with fellow wideouts Brandon Marshall and Kamar Aiken. He previously met with the Browns and Ravens, though he didn’t sign a contract with either team.
Bryant, 30, spent his entire eight-year career in Dallas before being cut by the Cowboys in mid-April. He caught 531 passes for 7,459 yards and 73 touchdowns during his tenure, including 838 yards and six touchdowns last season. The three-time Pro Bowl selection also led the NFL with 16 receiving touchdowns in 2014.
He’ll get the opportunity to play against his former team later this month, as the Saints are scheduled to visit the Cowboys in Week 13.
The Saints (7-1) are slated to visit the Bengals (5-3) at 1 p.m. ET Sunday.
