LeSean McCoy remains in the concussion protocol, Bills coach Sean McDermott said Monday.
“He’s in the protocol, and that’s all I can say right now,” McDermott said.
The veteran running back left Sunday’s game against the Colts in the first quarter with a head injury and did not return after taking a hard hit. ESPN reported after the game he had been placed in the concussion protocol.
The Bills replaced McCoy with Chris Ivory, who started a game earlier this season when McCoy was injured.
McCoy has just 244 yards and one touchdown this season.
McDermott also noted that starting quarterback Josh Allen (elbow) will not play next Monday against the Patriots. Derek Anderson will once again get the start in relief.
