Jets safety Jamal Adams wants Antonio Brown to join his team.
The second-year defensive back recently reached out to Brown, who is rumored to be requesting a trade from the Steelers.
“Yo @AB84 NYC will appreciate you!! #JETS,” Adams tweeted.

Pittsburgh benched Brown for its final game of the regular season, as he skipped practice all week after reportedly getting into a disagreement with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
Adams isn’t the first NFL player to reach out to Brown following the drama this week. San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle also tweeted at Brown on Tuesday, “Sup? @AB84,” and Brown responded with a starstruck and smiling emoji.

It’s unclear if the NFL will react to tweets like this. But the Jets have the second-most room of any NFL team in terms of salary space. They could emerge as a candidate to sign the star receiver if the time comes.
Brown just recorded at least 100 receptions for his sixth consecutive season, which is an NFL record. He totaled 104 catches for 1,297 yards and 15 touchdowns.
