Juve visits Roma in top-two clash

Rome, Italy (SportsNetwork.com) - The top two sides in Serie A will square off on Monday at the Stadio Olimpico as runaway leaders Juventus hit the road to face second-place Roma.
Juve enters the fixture with a nine-point cushion at the top of the league as Roma has stumbled in recent weeks, drawing six of their last seven matches in Serie A.
Rudi Garcia's team was held to a 1-1 draw against bottom-half side Hellas Verona last time out, and the boss will be hoping his side can turn around its recent results by improving in front of goal.
Roma has managed to score more than one goal in a game just once in their last six outings, and things don't figure to get easier against a Juve defense that has the top defensive record in the league.
While the club can close the gap on Juve with win and revive its title hopes, Roma may be more concerned with fending off third-place Napoli, which trails the capital club by only three points.
Juventus already appears to be on its way to another Scudetto, and a win on Monday would almost secure the Old Lady a fourth straight title.
The visitors will be full of confidence heading into Monday's match having beaten Roma in the last two meetings between the teams, while Juve notched a 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League in midweek.
Napoli visits Torino on Sunday in an effort to continue its pursuit of Roma and the club will aim for a fourth successive win in all competitions after a 1-0 win over Trabzonspor in the Europa League on Thursday.
Lazio has won back-to-back matches in the league to sit in fourth place, five points back of Napoli, and the club will travel to Sassuolo on Sunday, while fifth-place Fiorentina brings a seven-game unbeaten streak into its match at Inter Milan, which has won three straight Serie A fixtures.
AC Milan invades Chievo in the lone match on Saturday, while Sunday's other fixtures see Cagliari hosting Hellas Verona, Sampdoria traveling to Atalanta, Cesena tangling with Udinese, Genoa facing Parma and Empoli squaring off with Palermo.
